Hello! My name is David Krueger-Duncan. I am the German. My wife, Shelby, is the Scot. Shelby and I have five kids, all grown and living in various places in this huge country. We came to Vegas six years ago and are very pleased with what we have found. Vegas is a challenging and diverse community. It is hard to get bored around here.

My story might begin with, "I started out as a child" but Mr. Cosby has the rights to that. So I might say that I started out as an adult. Isn't that how it is-as kids we want to be grown up? Well, I'm grown up enough now to value being a kid.

I have drunk from many different denominational wells in my journey, so I have some appreciation for people of many different religious backgrounds. I am very pleased to be serving in the United Church of Christ. In the UCC I have found more openness than in most denominations and yet the openness is matched by courage and integrity. Our embrace of the GLBT community as well as our many other social concerns demonstrate that courage and integrity.

I hold a strong conviction that everybody needs and wants the love of God. I also believe that each of us has had some hurt or heartache that might encourage us to shy away from God or the people of God. But I am certain that the love of God and people are worth daring the barriers to faith.

I enjoy people. I think just about everybody has a good story to tell. Contained in those stories are the things we believe and value. I would like to hear some of your stories. Look me up!
